ABSTRACT
South Korean universities actively pursue obtaining government funding projects to secure their finances. However, upon examining the results of universities that receive benefits and the perception of the current situation of universities, it was found that the quantitative indexes applied to the evaluation are favorable or unfavorable depending on the characteristics of the university. According to the results of the analysis, there is a difference between the mean value and the component ratio of key quantitative indexes of the upper, middle, and lower groups depending on the size and location of the university. Therefore, the evaluation results can differ depending on which weight is placed on the indexes as the dominant indexes differ depending on region and size
